Below spec sheet is CY2020 Samsung Galaxy High-end smartphone spec.
According to industry news, they shipped around 40 million sets for high-end Galaxy series(GS20 + Note20 + Fold + Flip) at CY2020 which is decreased 20 million sets compare to CY2019(60mil) ....
Samsung has the plan to expand shipment for foldable model(CY20 5Mil ⇒ CY21 9~10Mil) but it seems hard because of two point. first is flexible panel capacity is not enough for their plan. Samsung display and thier supplier company(Dowoo insys) are constructing the extra panle plant at Vietnam but not sure they can make Samsung's needs in this year.
Second point is higher price than Galaxy Note. In this year, Galaxy Note might be vanished because of low sales result. Samsung wants Galaxy Foldable series will replace Galaxy Note series. but Galaxy Fold price is way higher than Note. If Samsung want to re-expand their high-end smartphone market share, they have to decide foldable series price down.
